Limited Warranty Information

FP Smith Parts & Equipment provides the following limited warranties on the parts and components we sell:

• New OEM Surplus and New Aftermarket Parts: 6-month limited warranty from the date of shipment.
• Used / Inspected Parts: 30-day limited warranty from the date of shipment.
• Reconditioned and Rebuilt Components: 6-month limited warranty from the date of shipment.

Coverage

This warranty covers the replacement of defective parts or components only. FP Smith Parts & Equipment will, at its sole discretion, either repair or replace any part found to be defective in material or workmanship under normal use and service.

Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

• Labor charges
• Installation costs
• Downtime
• Loss of use
• Consequential damages
• Incidental damages
• Shipping costs (unless otherwise agreed in writing)
• Any failure caused by misuse, neglect, improper installation, accident, alteration, or operation outside of manufacturer specifications

Conditions

• All warranty claims must be submitted in writing within the applicable warranty period.
• The customer is responsible for proper installation, maintenance, and operation of the parts.
• FP Smith Parts & Equipment reserves the right to inspect any returned part to determine if the defect is covered under this warranty.
• This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.

Limitations

THE WARRANTIES STATED ABOVE ARE IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

FP Smith Parts & Equipment shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages arising from the sale or use of these parts.

No employee, agent, or representative of FP Smith Parts & Equipment is authorized to modify or extend this warranty in any way except in writing signed by an authorized officer of the company.
